Scope

The privacy policy for 'BS Companion', now referred to as 'the application', is applicable to all versions, on both the Android and the iOS operating system. Differences related to the respective operating system are explicitely mentioned.
This privacy policy does not apply to the third-party app-store from which you install the application, which may also collect and use data about you. We are not responsible for any of the data collected by any such third party.

Personal data

The app does not store or track any personal data, like the users name or address, the user location, information about the users mobile device or about usage of the app itself.

Mobile Device Access

Apart from the apps preferences no other information is stored locally on the mobile device. The app will request access or permission to bluetooth and on Android access to geo location services.

Access to geo location services on Android

On certain versions of Android the app will request you to enable location services and asking for location access permission. Because discoverable devices might reveal information about the user's location, the device discovery process requires location access. For more information about requirement of access to location services for bluetooth, please review the Android BLE permissions.

Third-party service or advertising

The app makes no use of social networks and contain no advertising, no push notifications are send. As no personal data is collected or tracked by the app, there is no data shared to third-party.
